Nearly a hundred sports vehicles, classic, old, and modified, gave life this Sunday to the second edition of the Nuve Speed Fest, held at the Autódromo Gómez Palacio, located in the town of Dinamita, Durango, where La Laguna fans responded greatly. way, by completely filling the stands of the property.
From 10:00 a.m., the cars began to arrive at the racetrack, which showed its best face to receive this festival, in which, beyond a competition, it was a meeting between fans of motorsports and speed, who also provided help to who needs it.
“We organized this event because of the love we have for cars and we also want to help, because all the proceeds from tickets go to the Casa del Niño, so we are very happy with the response”described Dagoberto de la O, president of the Mustang Laguna Club and treasurer of the Casa del Niño, located in the El Tajito neighborhood of this city, where they provide attention, food, education and all care to more than 60 children who live in vulnerable situations.
The drivers who gladly stepped on the accelerators of their vehicles not only came from the Comarca Lagunera, but also from Chihuahua, Monterrey, Saltillo, Durango, among other cities from sister clubs to the Mustang Laguna. Cars from the most iconic sports lines, such as Mustang Shelby, Lamborghini, Mercedes Benz, BMW, Ferrari, McLaren, Honda, Audi, Chevrolet Camaro, Challenger, entered the track of the Autódromo Gómez Palacio, to exhibit the strength of their engines and race at more than 200 kilometers per hour, to the excitement of the spectators.
There were around 50 cars that entered the track, in addition to another 30 that were on display, classics such as Volkswagen Beetle or the famous “Vocho”, as well as Mini Cooper.
