It’s almost laughable if it wasn’t so laced with hatred, spite, malice, with which the name Robert Galbraith or JK Rowling appears every time the “last righteous” representatives of the so-called woke movement (a term from English, a form of the verb wake, meaning awakening or waking up, which protects those who, according to their claims, have woken up from the illusion of the justice of the established order) swarm. They are punishing the author for the sentences she said years ago. They themselves are much more insidious than the words they criticize. They are unable to distinguish the views of the artist from his work. And to understand that even being wrong is democratic, that none of the world’s celebrities and artists have a patent for infallibility, that no one is obliged to have an opinion promoted by some group.
And so the premiere of the new book in the series of stories by private detective Cormoran Strik is stormy. But readers will not miss their favorite titles and authors, they can defend and support their Rowling. “All you keyboard warriors think you’ve won, but in this book and her brilliant portrayal of the toxicity of chat rooms, Rowling once again proves her brilliance as a storytellerher understanding of society and people, and she has proven herself to be a much more intelligent, thoughtful, brave and compassionate person than any of you,” reader Tina told the critics on conviction (without reading a single page of the book) on the website of the book database and bookworm network Goodreads.

The co-author of the animated series Černočerné srdce is said to be constantly pursued by an internet user with the nickname Anomie. Robin decides that there’s nothing he can do to help her, and puts everything out of her head. In a few weeks, however, a shock will come – a young woman has been murdered by someone in the Highgate cemetery, where the entire series takes place. Robin and Cormoran Strike embark on a quest and soon discover entirely new forms of evil.

The book Zlín adds two quotes to the synopsis: “An exceptionally successful contemporary crime novel that points out many negative aspects of social media and online. At the same time, the author dealt well with the problem she had to go through herself,” wrote another reader on Goodreads. “A cautionary tale about the impact of the virtual world on real people’s lives,” reported the Guardian. He’s not wrong. The reader receives a traditionally great text created in waters in which Rowling can navigate without hesitation. If you can keep track of both the plot and the characters, some of whom use multiple identities, the title will engross you.
By the time you’re filled with intense suspense (and excitement for the book) through all the twists and turns to the finale, you’ll be in awe of not only the author’s skill, but all that the online world can hold, in which we voluntarily get bogged down every day. The only thing that would perhaps freeze the reader is the fact that even this time (beware, spoiler) Robin and Strike circle around each other more than they would dive into a love relationship. Personally, I have to say that I enjoy this element. There have been such couples in love on the trail of crime before! It is their blunt tapping and timid hints that are more interesting and somewhat more human.

How can internet trolls change reality, hurt (especially women), become a threat and maybe something more? This is also what Černočerné srdce is about, bringing us into the dangerous corners of the online world, according to the Zlín (and Albatros) publishing house. Despite the fact that Rowling points out the negative aspects of the online world, which she has experienced firsthand to a great extent, she does not moralize, she does not educate, she simply narrates. Again engaging, imaginative, with typical English detective fiction. And he playfully “rubs on his bread” his critics. Even by bringing back a book that you will enjoy reading.
