SUBE Card: collective companies were notified to present the documentation

The Municipality of San Miguel de Tucumán reported this Tuesday that it issued new notices to the different bus companies that have not yet presented the information to complete the registration process, prior to the implementation of the SUBE system.

According to the municipality, which directs Rossana Chahla, the requirements are very precise and are related to everything that affects the operation of companies in the capital area. “Number of units that are effectively providing service on the street, openings of bank accounts, documentation related to the social contracts of the companies, people responsible to the SUBE on behalf of each of the lines that the public transportation service operates, among other”.

“So far there are companies that have not presented anything at all and others that have incomplete documentation. It is important to highlight that these are requirements requested by the National Transportation Secretariat and by the National Transportation Regulation Commission (CNRT),” he noted.

The municipality’s request to companies

The Urban Mobility Secretariat detailed that so far the following lines have received the notice: without documentation, Line 8; incomplete documentation lines 17, 9, 3, 12 with the exception of Jacarandá, 6, 1 and 11.

On the other hand, the municipality indicated that it is a priority to remind users that there is no possibility of coexistence between the SUBE card and the Citizen or Metropolitan cards, plastics still in circulation.

In this sense, the municipal Urban Mobility Secretary, Benjamin Nieva He stated: “The arrival of the SUBE is a decision that has already been made at the national level, endorsed by the municipality of San Miguel de Tucumán and already approved. “There is the commitment expressed in different constitutive acts by the businessmen who provide the service in the area of ​​the Capital where they did welcome this arrival of the SUBE system.”

At the end of last year Chahla signed with the outgoing authorities of the Nation the framework agreement for the arrival of the system to the capital. A few days ago, the signature of the specific agreement between the Municipality and the federal office Nación Servicios, which is the technological operator of the SUBE card, was signed.

The implementation of this new payment method implies for users access to discounts of up to 55% on bus trips thanks to the Social Rate, a benefit that includes students, retirees, pensioners, former combatants and domestic workers, among others.
