Style week: The star of Survivor, the 51-year-old queen and Geisler wowed. But who stepped aside? | For women

Last week saw the premiere of a new thriller bearing the title Whirlwindin which one of the main characters is portrayed by an actress Anna Geislerová. In the spotlight, she stood out in a distinctive red model, long evening dresses from the workshop of the famous designer Tatiana Kovaříková. They flattered the wearer with their simple, unadorned silhouette, which was proportionately balanced by shoulder pads along with a discreet train. Not only the cut, but also the long sleeves and the absence of a neckline or any slit, added to the fierce elegance. In addition, the actress emphasized it with red lipstick in an otherwise decent make-up and delicate jewelry in the form of rings.

A documentary film also had its premiere This is Havel, can you hear me?which you are the executive director of the Karlovy Vary festival, Kryštof Mucha, did not miss it either. He arrived alongside his lovely wife Darina, who is not only an avid golfer but also a fashion lover, which is naturally reflected in her style. She arrived at the premiere in a very sophisticated world-class look. She chose a black long evening dress in a flowing cut without straps. She enlivened them with high heels, red lipstick, and combed back hair also contributed to the fresh impression.

However, the director and writer went off the fashion path this time Karin Krajčo Babinská. At the premiere of a Czech film Gump – we are two presented a mixture of diverse styles of individual attributes in the chosen look. The pieces did not fit together stylistically and thus created a certain chaos. She combined the chosen mini dress, which was sprinkled along its entire length with shiny sequins with reflections of many colors, with absolutely inadequate shoes – that is, moccasins on a block heel, which were additionally decorated with other distinctive elements in the form of gold buckles. However, the whole look was also degraded by the very dark tights, and the black handbag with the distinctive white logo of the Louis Vuitton brand was not a happy choice either. In this case, less really is more, and if the choice falls on a bold dress, it will be flattered by minimalistic accessories without extra applications.

Pilsenský Prazdroj christened the new lager “Proud”. On this occasion, well-known faces of Czech show business arrived, led by the stars of the reality show Survivor. Businesswoman Ornella Koktová and model Andrea Bezděková met at the event, which also matched their styles. Andrea demonstrated a flawless casual style based on timeless pieces such as an oversize jacket in a shortened length, wide-leg jeans or a white top.

Ornella, on the other hand, opted for a beige knit that perfectly complimented her new dark locks, and she also layered a black jacket over it, just in a classic length. She completed the overall look with jeans in a slight flare and massive black boots, which, however, spoil the overall impression. A more subtle version and a change of the belt would add more style.

But we also look beyond the borders. This week we were particularly pleased with the look of actress Katie Holmes. She layered the black monochromatic look with a quilted jacket, which is the best possible choice for this transitional period. She dominated with her youthful and ultra-cool olive color. The piece was created on the basis of a collaboration between the brands Everlane and Marques’Almeida. This resulted in an impressive top made of 100% organic cotton and lined with recycled nylon, which you can buy for six thousand crowns. Katie teamed it with a pair of elegant ankle-length wide leg trousers which revealed very elegant pumps with a short heel.

Queen Letizia of Spain also chose identical kitten heels with an open heel (slingback shoes) last week. She chose the same long pants in the same color, just in a cigarette cut and complemented it with a tweed jacket. It stood out not only with its bright red color, but also with other interesting attributes such as gold buttons and sewn-in front pockets.
