Bhupdevpur police raided the place of making illegal liquor in village Naharpali and arrested the accused Dhansai Rathiya resident of Naharpali, who was making liquor with a cache of illegal liquor, and sent him to jail under the Excise Act. According to the information, to take action against illegal liquor, police station in-charge Bhupdevpur Inspector Ramkinkar Yadav instructed his staff to take action by continuously patrolling and taking information from informers. On Sunday morning, the police station in-charge received information from an informer that a person was making Mahua liquor illegally inside a hut near village Naharpali Dharamkanta.

After immediately informing the senior officers on receiving the information, the police station in-charge along with his staff conducted a raid. Where on the spot, accused Dhansai Rathiya had kept Mahua liquor filled in 100 liter capacity drum, 20 liter capacity can and 5 liter capacity jerkin. Police seized about 195 billion liters of Mahua liquor worth Rs 19,500 prepared in drums, cans and plastic jerkins and utensils for making liquor, 4 guns and pipes were seized from the spot. Along with this, by breaking the illegal liquor distillery, about 500 kg of Mahua Lahan kept in sacks for making liquor was destroyed on the spot. After seizing 195 liters of illegal Mahua liquor and liquor manufacturing material from the accused Dhansai Rathiya, Bhupdevpur police took action under Section 34(2), 59(a) of the Excise Act and sent him to jail.
