– SJC gold approaches 82 million VND/tael, gold ring price sets a record

On March 8, SJC gold prices continued to dance, increasing to a record, creating an unprecedented price ‘fever’.

Gold ring prices tend to increase sharply due to limited domestic supply and gold businesses are not licensed to import raw gold.

Ending the afternoon session of March 8, the price of SJC gold bought and sold was 79.90 – 81.92 million VND/tael, an increase of 200,000 VND/tael sold compared to 9:30 am on March 8. The difference between buying and selling is 2.02 million VND/tael.

At the Doji system in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, the price of SJC gold sold ranges from 81.75 to 81.85 million VND/tael.

At Phu Quy SJC Store, the transaction price of gold is 79.80 – 81.70 million VND/tael, an increase of 100,000 VND/tael sold compared to the early afternoon of March 8. SJC gold price traded at Bao Tin Minh Chau is 79.85 – 81.65 million VND/tael, 100,000 VND/tael sold compared to early afternoon of the same day. The difference between buying and selling is 1.8 million VND/tael.

In particular, the selling price of the Thang Long Bao Tin Minh Chau Golden Dragon plain round ring reached a record high of 69.43 million VND/tael, an increase of 300,000 VND/tael compared to 1:40 p.m. on March 8. Thus, gold ring prices continue to set new high records.

Previously, at 3:00 p.m. March 8, Doji Jewelry Group listed the price of 9999 round gold ring at 67.95 – 69.2 million VND/tael (buy – sell). This is the highest gold ring price ever recorded.

At the same time, Saigon Jewelry Company Limited (SJC) listed the price of plain round gold rings from 1 – 5 at only 67.25 – 68.5 million VND/tael (buy – sell). The difference between the buying and selling prices of gold rings ranges from 1.2 to 1.35 million VND per tael.

According to some economic experts, currently, interest rates are continuously decreasing and investment is difficult, so cash flow tends to flow to precious metals. However, many experts warn that people should be careful when buying and hoarding gold at a time when prices are continuously setting records like today. Because the world economic situation is currently unpredictable, gold prices are very erratic, rising high but also falling immediately.

The domestic SJC gold price is 16.86 million VND/tael higher and the SJC gold ring price is 3.64 million VND/tael more expensive than the world gold price.
