Sheinbaum attacks IECM order not to mention the “real estate cartel”

MEXICO CITY (apro).- A week after the order from the Electoral Institute of Mexico City (IECM) to Morenistas not to mention the so-called “Real Estate Cartel” in their speeches, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, presidential candidate of Morena-PT -PVEM, thundered against the organization by describing its measure as “atypical”, partial and limiting freedom of expression.

“It is atypical and it is cutting or restricting freedom of expression. And it is an orientation from the Electoral Institute of Mexico City towards a candidate,” he complained in a conference from Zihuatajeno, Guerrero.

Regarding the decision made by the IECM last Wednesday the 24th, at the request of the campaign team of the candidate for Head of Government for the PAN-PRI-PRD, Santiago Taboada, the former head of government of CDMX accused:

“The Electoral Institute of Mexico City is not acting impartially. How is it possible that, in addition, with investigation folders, with detained people, linked to the current PRIAN candidate in Mexico City, they are restricting freedom of expression?

For this reason, he said, “we already call it the ‘PRIANdilla real estate’, because they are not going to silence us, we are going to continue denouncing the corruption of the PAN in Mexico City and linked today with the PRI, well, of the PRIAN in Mexico City . The actions of the Electoral Institute are totally partial.”

Sheinbaum was asked if the IECM measure also included her, but she did not clarify.

Although this afternoon the Morenista criticized the Institute, the term “PRIANdilla” was said for the first time last Sunday the 28th in the second presidential debate, when her opponent Xóchitl Gálvez spoke about the extortion suffered by rural producers:
