Suspected serial killer Collins Jumaisi, 33, was arrested this morning in the Mukuru area of ​​southern Nairobi. Jumaisi confessed to killing 42 women, including his wife.

Police Chief Amin Mohamed, who stated that 9 dead bodies were found in the garbage area in the region, said, “It is clear that we are facing a psychopathic serial killer,” and that Jumaisi confessed to burying the bodies of the 42 women he killed in this garbage area.

MANY KNIVES FOUND IN HIS HOUSE

The police report stated that Jumaisi committed the last of the murders of women, which he started with his wife in 2022, on July 11, and also mentioned that most of his victims’ limbs were cut off.

It was learned that during the raid on the serial killer’s house, a large number of knives, bags and tapes used to cut his victims, as well as mobile phones and IDs were found.

THE KILLED WOMEN WERE ALLEGED TO PARTICIPATE IN PROTESTS

In Kenya, where protests over tax increases have been taking place for some time, some villagers claim that the murdered women had recently participated in anti-government demonstrations, while police officials have denied reports that the serial killings were related to the protests.
