Tehran has warned Israel that it could review its nuclear stance if its nuclear facilities are threatened, as tensions rise in the region following Iran’s attack on Israeli soil in retaliation for Israel’s attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus on April 1. Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said yesterday they may “review” their nuclear policy, which they have long insisted is for civilian purposes, even as Western powers worry it has brought the Islamic Republic closer to acquiring nuclear weapons.
