On the night of March 20, the city of Engels in the Saratov region of Russia was attacked by drones. Roman Busargin, the head of the region, announced this on his Telegram channel.
According to him, the drones were destroyed by the anti-aircraft defense system, which “worked on time and efficiently”.
“According to preliminary data, there were no injuries or damage caused by the falling debris,” wrote Busargin.
There is a military airfield in the city of Engels, Saratov region, where Russian strategic bombers are stationed. The airport has already been attacked several times by ATS.
In turn, TASS reports that a teenager was injured as a result of the new shelling in the city of Belgorod and was taken to the hospital.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced that around 11:30 local time, air defenses shot down 13 rockets of the RM-70 Vampire volley fire jet systems in the Belgorod region.
And the Ukrainian authorities of the Kherson region reported that the Russian forces attacked vehicles transporting civilians, resulting in 2 victims.
“According to preliminary data, 2 men were killed as a result of the shelling,” wrote Alexander Prokudin, head of Kherson regional military administration, on his Telegram channel.
