The second work was done by Yasswi Jaiswal. He scored a great century. In his century, Rajasthan topped the target of 180 runs given by Mumbai with 9 wickets and 8 balls in hand.
Chasing a target of 180 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Monday, Rajasthan scored 74 runs with the opening pair of Jaiswal and Jos Buttler. Jaiswal paired with skipper Sanju Samson when Buttler got out after scoring 35 off 25 balls. Rajasthan got a big win with an unbeaten 109-run partnership for the second wicket.
Jaiswal scored a century with a flurry of batting. This young batsman scored 104 runs in just 60 balls. His unbeaten innings had 9 boundaries and 7 sixes. Samson left the field as the winner by scoring 38 runs off 28 balls.
Earlier, after winning the toss and going to bat, Sandeep Sharma’s fire bowling put Mumbai under pressure at the beginning. Three top-order batsmen returned to Sajghar within 20 runs. Losing Rohit Sharma (6), Ishan Kishan (0) and Suryakumar Yadav (10), Mumbai began to falter. They lost 4 wickets for 54 runs.
From there, Mumbai got capital of 179 runs for 9 wickets with two great innings by Tilak Verma and Nehal Wadhera. Tilak Tara scored a pair of 99 runs off 52 balls in the fifth wicket.
Nehal did not get a fifty for one run. He played an innings of 49 runs in 24 balls with 3 boundaries and 4 sixes. Tilak scored 65 off 45 balls. The left-handed batsman had 5 fours and 3 sixes in his innings.
Rajasthan’s right-arm pacer Sandeep Sharma single-handedly took 5 wickets at the cost of 18 runs. Trent Boult took 2 wickets for 32 runs.
Rajasthan is at the top of the table as always with 7 wins in 8 matches. On the other hand, Mumbai is in the seventh position of the table with only 3 wins in the same matches.
