Saddil Ramdani is moved by watching the Indonesian U-23 National Team, prays for it to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics

SABAH – Winger Sabah FC, Saddil Ramdani , admitted that he was moved to see the struggle of his colleagues in the U-23 Indonesian National Team (Timnas). Saddil prays that the Garuda Muda Squad can go even further, namely winning tickets to the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The Indonesian U-23 national team managed to steal attention at 2024 U-23 Asian Cup . With their status as debutants, the Garuda Muda squad successfully went far until they finished in fourth place.

The achievements of the U-23 Indonesian National Team have made the Indonesian public proud, including Saddil. This player, who also has the National Team label, admitted that he was touched and proud to see the struggle of his colleagues who brought the Garuda Muda Squad to soar in this event.

“I feel proud, they went very far (in the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup). “I saw friends who were fighting to defend the national team,” said Saddil, quoted from the Harimau Malaya Youtube channel, Monday (6/5/2024).

“I am proud, happy, and touched because the U23 National Team players have really provided positive things for Indonesia,” he continued.

The Garuda Muda squad had to lose 1-2 to Iraq in the race for third place in the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup. This defeat practically meant that the U-23 Indonesian National Team failed to get an automatic ticket to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

However, the Indonesian U-23 National Team still has hopes of being able to compete in the 2024 Paris Olympics. The Garuda Muda squad will fight for one final ticket against Guinea U-23 in the play-off round which will take place in Clairefontaine, France, Thursday (9/5 /2024) in the future.

Saddil also wished the best for the U-23 Indonesian National Team. This 25 year old player really hopes that Marselino Ferdinan cs can beat Guinea U-23 so that he can win a ticket to the 2024 Paris Olympics as the people of Indonesia dream of.

“I hope that they will continue to go further and continue to achieve what Indonesia wants,” said Saddil.

Apart from that, Saddil is currently focusing on establishing himself with Sabah FC to enter the 2024 Malaysian Super League. The team nicknamed The Rhinos will start their struggle against Penang at the Likas Stadium, next Sunday (12/5/2024).
