The German “Bild” magazine published a theoretical scenario of Russia’s attack on NATO.
Publika.az reports that the scenario is based on a government document submitted to the parliament. According to the scenario, the attack can consist of four phases. The first phase consists of a massive disinformation campaign in the media and social networks to divide Western society. Cyber attacks on critical infrastructure facilities are also possible.
In the second phase, Moscow will begin military maneuvers along NATO’s borders, while increasing espionage and cyber attacks. The first satellites in space could be destroyed, including Germany’s chemical plants and nuclear power plants.
The third stage will involve the direct invasion of Russian troops. The fourth stage is combat on land, water, air and space. It is possible that Moscow will use biological, chemical and nuclear weapons, and use electromagnetic pulses to turn on all electronic devices.
It should be noted that in January “Bild” newspaper wrote with reference to a secret document that Germany is preparing a war plan between NATO and Russia. According to the scenario of the German Ministry of Defense, the war could begin in the summer of 2025. The author of the material believes that there is a high probability that the conflict will start in the Suvalki corridor, which is located between Belarus and the Kaliningrad region.
