One of the most prominent proposals is what is called “Wenger’s Law,” which stipulates amending Article 11 of the Football Law (offside), so that the attacker is allowed to advance with part of his body over the last second defender or the ball when playing the ball from his teammate (as the ball covers offside if it is closer). to the goal line of the striker).
The other revolutionary proposal is temporary expulsion, and this amendment was already approved in 2017, but for amateur matches only.
The philosophy of this amendment is an immediate punishment for violations that deserve a yellow card, which will positively affect the behavior of players and their teams and reduce violations that require a warning, including playing in a way that the referee considers “reckless.”
In addition, there is an incredible amendment that seeks to reduce the views of the players surrounding the referee and address the increasing tension on the field and the pressure of the players on the referee, which wastes time and also wastes the referees’ prestige.
It is suggested that only the team captain has the right to approach the referee, and if any other player approaches him, he will be punished with a warning.
