He headed in from Luka Modric’s corner. Celta defender Dominguez contributed to make the gap 3-0 by sending Vinny’s cross into their own net in the 88th minute. Late substitute Guler made the score 4-0 in stoppage time.
Vinnie led the attack despite the absence of Judd Bellingham due to suspension. His first goal chance was blocked by Celta keeper Guaita. The hosts were out of rhythm after the break but the visitors could not take advantage. The match was snatched by three goals in the last 11 minutes. Before that, Rodrigo and Brahim Diaz missed the chance to score.
Real Madrid is at the top with 69 points. With this win, they have strengthened their position at the top of the points list.
