In the Pakistan Super League today, two top teams, two top batsmen and two top captains are going to compete.

One is the captain who has left Pakistan and the other is the captain who finds it difficult to build a perfect team from 15 different players.

One captain has powered his batting to reach the qualifiers of this tournament and the other captains are the ones who at times found it difficult to decide who to include in the 11 and who not.

Of course, you must have understood which two players we are talking about. One is Babar Azam and the other is Muhammad Rizwan.

There are now only four matches left in PSL 9 which will decide the two teams going to the finals and then a winner.

The first and direct final match will be played on Thursday between table topper Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi, who won on their own with the bat, in Karachi.

The remaining two teams are Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators between whom the eliminator will be played.

That is, there will be another match between the teams that lose the qualifiers and the teams that win the eliminator will decide the other team going to the finals.

Talking about Babar and Rizwan, both of them have performed by themselves and performed with the team. A simple example of this is the runs scored by these two players with the bat in this tournament and the decisions taken during the match.

Babar Azam is the highest run-scorer in PSL 9 so far, while Mohammad Rizwan is second.

Mohammad Rizwan has so far scored 366 runs in 10 innings at an average of 36-over while Babar Azam has scored 498 runs in nine innings at an average of 62.25.

Babar Azam has scored five fifties and one century in PSL 9 but the most unusual thing is that Babar Azam has hit 11 sixes and 56 fours so far.

Talking about Mohammad Rizwan, he has also scored four half-centuries and hit 15 sixes and 29 fours.

Babar Azam has repeatedly said in this tournament that his strength is batting and he has proved it. Babar Azam and Saeem Ayub are the most prolific opening pair in the PSL so far.

On the other hand, Mohammad Rizwan’s strength is his bowlers, whose performance cannot be said. Since the start of the tournament, Multan Sultans bowlers have topped the list of players who have taken the most wickets.

Osama Mir has taken the most wickets in PSL 9 so far with 21 wickets and this is the same Osama Mir who many people say he forgets to perform whenever he is included in the Pakistan team. are

Muhammad Ali of Multan Sultans is also in the second position, who has taken 17 wickets.

The top wicket taker of Peshawar Zalmi is Luke Wood, who has taken only 11 wickets, but watching the bowling of Peshawar Zalmi, Wood’s performance has been amazing. Because he alone has not only been taking wickets for Peshawar Zalmi but has also bowled good overs in difficult times.

Now talking about the captaincy of Babar and Rizwan, both of them have reached here by losing only three matches, while the interesting thing is that Multan Sultans have lost two of the three matches against Peshawar Zalmi.

While Peshawar Zalmi has lost one match each to Karachi Kings, Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United in this PSL while one of their matches was rained out.

Babar Azam not only showed a different color of his captaincy by getting Saim Ayub to start, Mehran Mumtaz to power play and Arif Yaqub to bowl at the end of the innings, but also celebrated his captaincy after the World Cup in India.

If we see Muhammad Rizwan’s captaincy, for the second time in a row in the PSL, the way he built the team, decided to play as a fielder or make changes in the batting line-up, Rizwan did it all in a way that not only surprised everyone. Instead, they were forced to say, ‘Rizwan, wow.’
