PSL 9: Peshawar Zalmi’s ‘Khyber Edition’ Kit

Pakistan Super League team Peshawar Zalmi has launched its kits for season nine in a unique way.

Peshawar Zalmi have launched their home and away kits for PSL 9 starting February 17 with animation from the historic Bab Khyber and Islamia College Peshawar.

This time these kits have been named ‘Khyber Edition’.

According to Peshawar Zalmi, the aim of bringing the ‘Khyber Edition’ kits from Bab Khyber to Minsk is to highlight the culture of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to the world, get their fans excited for the upcoming season as well as their home ground in the coming seasons. And there is also an expression of desire to be in action in front of the home crowd.

The ninth season of Pakistan Super League is going to start from February 17 in Lahore. However, even this time Peshawar Zalmi fans will not be able to see their team playing in front of them at Arbab Niaz Stadium.

The demand of Peshawar Zalmi has been repeated many times that the Arbab Niaz Stadium under construction in Peshawar should be completed soon so that Peshawar Zalmi fans can see their team playing in front of them.

In this regard, Peshawar Zalmi had asked the Pakistan Cricket Board to give his team more matches in Rawalpindi and Karachi so that until the construction of Arbab Niaz Stadium is completed, Zalmi fans can travel from Peshawar to the rural cities of Rawalpindi and Pakhtun fans. A more populous city, Karachi has more opportunities to play.

However, in the ninth edition of PSL, Peshawar Zalmi has got to play four matches in Rawalpindi and only one match in Karachi.
