“A high glycemic load, that is, consumption of large amounts of carbohydrates, can be accompanied by a poor response to ovarian stimulation during assisted reproductive technology programs. Alcohol, caffeine, refined sugar, flour products, gluten and sugar substitutes also reduce the chance of pregnancy,” Koloda said.
He also advised caution with soy foods, which can reduce the chance of fertilization. However, grains, milk and vegetables are among the products that increase the probability of pregnancy.
