“The complaint filed lacks the identification of specific facts and legal bases that justify the request for dissolution of the Party,” they point out in a statement.
Currently, the party adds, “the administrative processes related to the approval of the accountability are still being processed, and, despite this, the Servel decided to request the dissolution of the Party. Likewise, the current board has worked tirelessly with Servel to organize the Party’s financial situation and clarify any doubts generated by the work carried out by the previous board.”
“This has included the filing of administrative, civil and criminal actions. Finally, it is worrying to observe how, without exhausting previous avenues or seeking less harmful corrective measures, the most serious and extreme sanction is opted for, the dissolution of a Political Party,” they add.
Comunes affirms that they trust that “in a process of these characteristics and context, unique in the history of our country, Tricel will ensure due process, good faith and the right to choose and be elected that the Constitution defends regarding the guiding principle of participation and political pluralism.”
