Popular Tamil singer Uma Ramanan passed away. He died in Chennai on Wednesday (May 1). He was 69 years old at the time of death. However, the cause of death has not yet been clarified. Uma Ramanan is survived by many well-wishers including singer husband AV Ramanan and son Vignesh Ramanan.
