Payments exceeding 500 AZN in one transaction for medical services provided by individuals engaged in private medical practice will also be made without cash.
Publika.az reports that this was made possible by President Ilham Aliyev’s approval of the amendment to the law “On Cashless Settlements”.
According to the amendment, by expanding the range of cashless settlements, payments exceeding five hundred manats within a transaction for medical services provided by individuals engaged in private medical practice, in addition to medical institutions, will also be accepted without cash.
Thus, the same legal regime applies to all private medical activities in relation to cashless transactions.
Private medical practice is an activity on the provision of medical assistance performed by persons with higher or secondary medical education in accordance with their specialty on the basis of a special consent given in accordance with the law, without creating a legal entity.
