It is recalled that the prosecutor of the Supreme Court, Georgia Adelini, ordered on April 4 the bringing criminal charges for voter fraud at the expense of eleven members of parliament who were elected with the Spartan party, except for its leader, Vasilios Stigas.

According to information, the prosecutor, who personally conducted the criminal investigation after the public complaints of the head of the Spartans, Vassilis Stiga, about illegal behind-the-scenes actions in his party, referring to the methods of the “Greek mafia” and Don Corleone, gave an order for a criminal prosecution for fraud of the electorate against the head of the Athens First Instance Prosecutor’s Office, Antonis Eleftherianos.

The order for the initiation of criminal proceedings concerns the 11 MPs who were elected with the Spartiates party during the recent parliamentary elections, apart from Vasilios Stigas, but also Ilias Kassidiaris, imprisoned for running a criminal organization, who is criminally under investigation as the moral perpetrator of the fraud of the electorate, as the prosecutor’s investigation revealed that he was the real leader of the party.

Prosecution of Kasidiaris as a moral author

The prosecution of Kasidiaris as a moral perpetrator, i.e. as a hidden leader of the Spartans, was based on the existence of evidence that emerged from the investigation of the Supreme Court prosecutor and, according to them, it is alleged that he had continuous contacts from prison with candidate parliamentarians of the Spartans and that had he taken over their guidance and political support, which is prohibited by law, both for him and for other ACA inmates who have convictions as a criminal organization.

Following this development, three Spartan MPs went independent, with the party’s caucus now numbering 7 MPs, as two others had left in the previous months.
