MEXICO CITY (apro).- The candidate for mayor of Ciudad Mante for the PAN-PRI coalition, Noé Ramos Ferretiz, was stabbed to death during a campaign event this Friday, in the Azucarera neighborhood, in Tamaulipas.
Through its social networks, the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Tamaulipas confirmed the attack against the candidate:
The Attorney General’s Office of the State of Tamaulipas reports that it became aware of the attack suffered by the candidate for the Municipal Presidency of El Mante, of the “Strength and Heart for Mexico” Coalition.
Investigative Police and Experts have moved to the scene of the events, to process the area and collect evidence, which will allow the clarification of these and find him or the possible perpetrators.
As soon as more information is available, it will be made public knowledge, to the extent that investigations allow.
Some witnesses reported that Ramos was at a campaign event when several men attacked him with stabs, to the screams of those present.
