According to the report, on Wednesday, Israel’s parliament, the Knesset, voted on whether Israel would recognize the independent state of Palestine. There, 99 out of 120 people voted against.
Meanwhile, one day after Israel’s vote, Mansoor told Anadolu that Israel does not go to Palestine with the vote of the Israeli parliament. Freedom does not depend on anyone’s permission. The same would happen if countries stopped supplying Israel with arms.
According to the UN Charter, if a country wants to become a member of the UN, it needs the recommendation of the Security Council. Nothing else.
Urging the international community to stand by the Palestinian people, Mansour, the Palestinian representative to the United Nations, said that there will be two independent states in the Al-Aqsa region. This decision was taken by the international community in 1947. However, it has not yet been implemented due to various reasons.
