Pakistan women’s star cricketer Bismah Maruf has announced her retirement from international cricket. With this, the 17-year career of this female cricketer who collected the highest runs in Pakistan’s ODIs and T20s ended. However, even after retiring from the national team, Bismah will be seen in league cricket.

Bismah said in a statement released by the PCB today, ‘I have decided to retire from the game I love the most. Which is an incredible journey, full of challenges, victories and unforgettable memories. I would like to express my gratitude to my family. Who have supported me from the beginning till now in my cricketing journey.’

Bismah has played 136 ODI matches for Pakistan. Scored 3,369 runs at an average of 29.55. With the highest innings of 99 runs, he has 21 fifties next to his name.

Bismah scored 2 thousand 893 runs in 140 matches in T20. Batting at an average of 27.55, he scored 12 half-centuries. Bismah captained the Pakistan team in 96 matches (62 ODIs and 34 T20Is).
