The deputy said that President Ilham Aliyev, in his speech at the first session of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, held on March 10 of that year, addressed the place and role of multipartyism in the development of the country’s political system as one of the most important issues. “It is known that political reforms cannot be implemented without extensive inter-party dialogue. Therefore, the representatives of the Presidential Administration regularly held meetings with the leaders of the political parties, and this practice is continued even now. In addition, necessary steps will be taken by the Milli Majlis for the further improvement of the political system in the field of legislation. As Mr. President Ilham Aliyev said, the multi-party system in Azerbaijan will be built on even stronger foundations, and for this purpose, all the spectrum of tools necessary for the activity of political parties should be created.”

Gafarov, the reforms carried out in our country today are both conceptual and structural: “The personnel reforms carried out in all fields for some time now confirm that the reforms carried out in the country are multifaceted and comprehensive. In particular, the cleaning works carried out in the central and local executive bodies, in all state institutions, unequivocally express the will of the people and are based on national interests. It goes without saying that the concept of protecting national interests necessarily implies the formation of the young generation in a healthy patriotic spirit. Therefore, it is one of the most important issues facing the state and our entire society that the youth of Azerbaijan should be brought up in a national-patriotic spirit and not fall under foreign influence. True patriotism creates a sense of sacrifice, heroism and invincibility, strengthens the sense of confidence in the struggle. It was these feelings that gave the glorious Azerbaijani Army the determination to win the Patriotic War. The reason why young people get a large number of mandates in the parliamentary elections is also explained by the high trust shown to them.
