One injured after a serious accident in San Salvador

The raids and arrests were carried out in coordination with the National Civil Police in different points of Soyapango, La Libertad and La Paz.

Among those captured are: Mariano Benjamín Alvarado Hernández, detained in Soyapango, San Salvador; Edwin Alberto Rodríguez Lovo, detained in Santiago Nonualco, La Paz; Marvin Alberto Montano Morán, detained in Ciudad Delgado, San Salvador and Jason Starlyn Benitez Cornejo, detained in Santa Tecla, La Libertad.

A prosecutor from the Specialized Unit for Children and Adolescents explained that the crimes these people have committed are pornography through the use of information technologies and acquisition and possession of pornographic material of girls, boys or adolescents or people with disabilities. , through the use of information technologies.

The prosecutor in the case stated that the investigation began from a report from abroad indicating the possession of pornographic materials by one of those involved, Edwin Alberto Rodríguez Lovo. In recent years, the Prosecutor’s Office has dealt several blows to criminal networks that sell their materials to child pornography networks in various countries in Europe and Asia.

In February 2023, the Attorney General’s Office ordered searches and arrests for similar crimes in the San Jacinto neighborhood and Escalón neighborhood, in the municipality and department of San Salvador; San Pedro Masahuat, La Paz; San Vicente and Usulután. As a result of the investigation, Dennis Christian Villalobos Villalta, Jaime Samuel Lemus Rivas and Henri Alexander López Amaya were captured.
