Due to prolonged hot weather, the fire area had many dry leaves and branches, so the fire quickly broke out and spread, making firefighting difficult. After nearly 2 hours of actively deploying fire extinguishing plans, officers and soldiers of Region 5 of the Navy and other forces were able to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to other people’s Melaleuca growing land.
The fire occurred in an area of land about 1 hectare wide. The cause of the fire and the fire area are being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
