Noman Robin’s ‘Flowers from Ashes’ in the US – 2024-03-28 06:02:35

Noman Robin’s full-length documentary ‘Blossoms from Ashes’ on the history of deprivation and wrongdoing of the Rohingya people has been praised at various film festivals and forums around the world. Now it is going to be shown in the United States.

The producer said, ‘Flowers from Ashes’ will be displayed at the traditional Bird College in New York state on July 10. At the end of the exhibition, the producer will face the students in a question-and-answer session.

On behalf of the college, this film exhibition was organized by Aniruddha Mitra, Director, Global and International Studies Program and coordinated by Visiting Professor Fahmidul Haque. Both will attend the event.

Noman Robin said, ‘I find it very comfortable to sit and show the film with any college-university students outside the festival or forum. is challenging. Because students not only appreciate these works but also criticize them. Wants to know everything inside and outside the movie. I hope this exhibition will be interesting. This honor and opportunity given by the famous Bard College ignited me manifold.’

‘Flowers from Ashes’ is produced by Alex Blum, camera by Sarun Manandhar. Co-produced by Blum Family Foundation and Circle Media International.
