He said, probably no one else is more concerned about health care than the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister’s expectations about the health sector will be fulfilled.
On Monday (March 4) at noon in the meeting room of the Ministry, Dr. who has just joined the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare as State Minister. He said these things in the chief guest’s speech at the exchange meeting of senior officials of health care department and health education department with Rokeya Sultana.
The Health Minister said that the Prime Minister thinks about many things to improve the quality of health care of the people of the country. He made me a health minister from a doctor. He also chose a professional doctor as the state minister.
Dr. Samant Lal Sen said that the Prime Minister’s message is very clear. He wants to make visible improvement in the health sector of the country. In this regard, I and the State Minister both understand and know the expectations of the Prime Minister. We want to advance the work in such a way that the expectations of the Prime Minister regarding the health care of the people of the country are fulfilled.
Dr. State Minister of Health at the meeting. Rokeya Sultana said, I joined politics from student politics to the central level without the hope of getting any post. The Prime Minister has given me such a great honor to serve the people of the country. I worked as a doctor for 33 years. I know the health sector from the field level up to the top.
He said, I have worked together with the current health minister since 1980. Hopefully, we can work together to fulfill Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s expectations in the health sector.
Before the start of the meeting at 11:30 a.m., the Health Minister and the State Minister for Health also spoke at the preparatory meeting for the BDS (Bangladesh Dental Surgeon) admission test to be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the same place.
Health education and family welfare department secretary Azizur Rahman chaired the health care department secretary Jahangir Alam, BMA president Dr. Mustafa Jalal Mohiuddin, Swachip president. Jamal Uddin Chowdhury, director general of all departments of health sector including Directorate of Health, Directorate of Family Planning, Directorate of Nursing, Health Economics Unit, DGDA and additional secretaries and joint secretaries of the ministry spoke.
