New information about thunderstorms in the North

The National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting said that today, the North and North Central regions will have showers and thunderstorms, locally with heavy to very heavy rain.

Provinces from Thanh Hoa to Ha Tinh from the night of May 11 to around May 15 also had scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally with heavy rain, the rain concentrated in the evening and night.

The meteorological agency warns that during thunderstorms there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong winds. Localized heavy rain has the potential to cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on slopes and flooding in low-lying areas.
