From the Baden Rollett Museum to the Gugging Museum

St. Pölten (OTS) Today, Wednesday, February 21st, excavation manager Mag. Stefanie Lehofer will tell “Archaeological news from the Baden spa park” from 7 p.m. in the Rollettmuseum Baden. Tomorrow, Thursday, February 22nd, the Krems Caricature Museum is hosting a “Deix birthday special”, with director Gottfried Gusenbauer (from 2 p.m.) and curator Anna Steinmair (from 4 p.m.) on the occasion of Manfred Deix’s 75th birthday through the anniversary show “I Love Deix” and tell anecdotes from his life. The exhibition “The Hidden and What Behind” by Johannes Simetsberger will open in the Galerie Kultur Mitte in Krems on Friday, February 23rd at 7 p.m., in which the artist, who lives in Krems and Vienna, will present his work cycles “Death Masks” and . “Dances Macabre”, “Icons” and “Further Paintings” from the years since 2017 approach this topic. From 3 p.m. in the Gugging Museum, Nina Ansperger from the Gugging Museum, Nina Katschnig from the Gugging Gallery, Winnie Posselt from the Haus der Künstler and Ramona Schnekenburger from the Gugging Atelier will discuss female positions in Gugging art.
