Neuralink connects computers to the human brain: Elon Musk

Elon Musk has said that his company Neuralink has connected a computer to one’s brain.

Neuralink hopes to develop a brain-computer interface that can be implanted in humans. By doing this, they can send instructions to the computer and receive instructions from the computer through their thoughts.

Now Elon Musk says that this system has been tested on a human. So far this system has only been tested on animals.

He said in his message on X that yesterday the first human was implanted with neural link (system) and he is recovering.

He said the system was already detecting activity in the person’s brain. ‘Preliminary results are promising for neuron spike detection.’

Elon Musk did not give further details about the experiment, nor did he say who the first chip implanter was or what the technology was. After this announcement, he started tweeting about gaming again.

Neuralink said last year that it had begun selecting candidates for the first human trials of its technology.

At the time, he suggested that he was looking for people who had ‘paralysis of both arms and legs due to cervical spinal cord injury or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).’

Neuralink was founded in 2016 with the hope of creating a new way for humans to interface with machines.

Elon Musk suggested that it could provide a way for people to integrate virtual reality with their brains, for example.

Since its creation, Neuralink has been fairly secretive about its work, but it has revealed that it requires tiny chips inserted into the brain, specially designed to see the activity of neurons. Can be done by robots.
