Different types of silk sarees, cotton katan, gold katan, Banarasi, half silk, Jamdani sarees are sold in these shops. These sarees are being sold for 2 to 10 thousand rupees. And low-income buyers buy sarees from Shahjadpur and Tangail weavers between 800 and 1500 taka.

Since the beginning of Ramadan, the sale of cloth has been very good. It looks like it will get more crowded in the next few days.

Zakia Jasmine, a shopper at Dewan Bazar, said that due to the last-minute rush, she wanted to complete her Eid shopping earlier this year. He came to the market and saw a crowded crowd. The seller does not have time to talk to the buyer. The price is demanding. In the meantime, I bought clothes for my daughter. I still have shopping to do.

Shahidul Islam, the owner of Asman Big Bazar Trading Company in the city, said that at the beginning of fasting, the number of customers is less but as the day of Eid is approaching, the number of customers in the shop is increasing. In addition to clothing, our store also sells shoes and cosmetics, but clothing has been the biggest selling point so far. This year the price is higher but the quality of the clothes is good, so the buyers are satisfied.
