Barcelona, Spain (ots/PRNewswire) – – Promoting continuous industrial modernization
At the Huawei IP Club Carnival, held during MWC Barcelona 2024, Huawei and The Tolly Group presented the test report for the Level 4 (L4) network solution for autonomous driving in data centers. The report shows that Huawei’s solution received an impressive overall score of 4.02 (out of 5.0) and is the only solution in the industry rated by Tolly that implements autonomous driving in L4 data centers.
According to Tolly’s assessments based on the autonomous driving index system of data center networks, the Huawei CloudFabric solution demonstrates exceptional performance in terms of deployment efficiency and accuracy, ease of use, ease of maintenance, reliability and network performance optimization.
Arthur Wang, President of Data Center Network Domain at Huawei Data Communication Product Line, attributes the development of Huawei’s autonomous data center network solution from L3.5 to L4 to the company’s deep understanding of customer problems and service scenarios in industries such as finance, government and Manufacturing as well as joint innovation projects with leading customers. It underscores Huawei’s ongoing commitment to working with customers and industry partners to bring data center networks into the era of highly autonomous driving.
Kevin Tolly, founder and CEO of Tolly Group, praises Huawei’s CloudFabric 3.0 super-connectivity solution for introducing digital NIC functionality to data center networks. This innovation provides significant benefits in unified orchestration, simulation and verification, as well as integrated application and network O&M for heterogeneous multi-cloud networks. In addition, the intelligent O&M capabilities of general-purpose computer networks are extended to multi-architecture computer networks that include both intelligent and general-purpose computers.
The test report not only highlights Huawei’s innovation and leadership in autonomous data center networks, but also provides a clear development path for companies embarking on the path of intelligent digital transformation. Looking forward, Huawei will continue to work with industry partners to promote the widespread adoption of L4 autonomous driving network technologies in data centers. This concerted effort aims to accelerate data center networks as they move into the era of autonomous driving, characterized by agile business operations, an unparalleled user experience, and optimized operations and maintenance efficiency.
