Kyriakos Mitsotakis linked the productivity premium to the evaluation of civil servants

Kyriakos Mitsotakis promises a 15% bonus to civil servants before the election shortly before the European elections in June.

During his introduction to the cabinet the prime minister announced that the productivity bonus will be inextricably linked to the Evaluation system of public servants.

The productivity bonus will be given through a system which was not announced still but according to Kyriakos Mitsotakis it will be determined by performance measurement indicators with superiors to propose which civil servants will get the premium.

The 40% of the premium amount will be distributed equally to workers and the 60% depending on the offer of each.

The premium will apply horizontally to the State and the aim of the regulation is to act as an additional incentive to increase the productivity of the State, but also so that those employees who try and perform do not feel “kicked”.
