MDMedia Prepares Programmatic Advertising Services Based on Telco Data

JAKARTA – PT Metra Digital Media (MDMedia) introduced Programmatic Advertising services supported by Telco Data at the 2024 Asia Pacific Media Forum (APMF) at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center. This Programmatic Advertising service, which is supported by Telco Data, is a collaboration between MDMedia, Telkomsel and Accenture.

On the same occasion, a Concept Test Memorandum of Understanding (MoU POC) was also signed between MDMedia and Telkomsel, Bank BRI and Asia Media Prisma (APM) as an initial step in utilizing this service in Indonesia for the first time.

“This is the first step in our journey in facing the upcoming cookie-less phenomenon. MDMedia has the confidence to launch our newest service, namely Programmatic Advertising which is supported by Telkomsel’s Telco Data,” said MDMedia Operation & Sales Director Pujo Pramono in a press statement , Sunday (5/5/2024).

According to him, this service is expected to play an important role in facing a future without cookies and become a leading service in programmatic advertising. “We are committed to proving that this service is able to provide added value in the advertising industry, especially in terms of effectiveness by only orienting towards customer targets that are more appropriate and more efficient,” he stressed.

Meanwhile, Telkom VP Business Planning Anang Supriadi said that his party was very enthusiastic about this collaboration initiative. “We believe that the change towards cookie-less can change the landscape of the advertising industry. With a strict Personal Data Protection (PDP) policy, we are confident that we can compete well in facing this challenge and become a game changer in the advertising industry in Indonesia,” he said .

Head of Marketing Communication Division of Bank BRI Roma JP Simanjuntak added that his party was very happy to support this collaboration as part of BUMN synergy. “We believe that through a targeted and efficient marketing strategy, this collaboration will help us reach our customers better and help Bank BRI on its journey to become a more digital banking institution in Indonesia,” he said.

Ananto Pratikno from Asia Media Prisma added, as a local advertising company with 100% TKDN, his party is also proud to be part of this collaboration. “We believe that with Telco data, we can achieve greater creative potential and have a positive impact on Indonesian society,” he said.

This collaboration between MDMedia and Accenture, which is supported by Telkomsel, is said to be proof of TelkomGroup’s commitment to innovation. This time, the innovation is specifically in the digital advertising industry which is expected to provide significant added value for customers in Indonesia.

“Hopefully this service will be able to provide superior solutions for brand managers in Indonesia in the future to increase competitiveness, both domestically and globally,” concluded Pujo.
