V-League returns after nearly 2 months of break. Currently, football teams are actively practicing to prepare for the day the highest playground in Vietnam returns.
According to the announcement on the VPF homepage, round 9 of V-League 2023/2024 will have 3 matches applying VAR technology. It’s a match between Hai Phong vs Nam Dinh, Thanh Hoa vs Hanoi FC and CAHN vs Ho Chi Minh City.

The highlight of this match is the confrontation between Thanh Hoa and Hanoi FC. In the last two seasons, this match has always brought exciting and dramatic matches.
Currently, the Thanh Hoa team is ranked 4th on the rankings and closely following their opponents in the top 3. Meanwhile, Hanoi FC is only ranked 10th after going through a period of instability. They are hoping for the leadership talent of new coach Daiki Iwamasa for the rest of the tournament.
Another notable match is the match between Hai Phong and Nam Dinh clubs. The Nam team is maintaining a gap with the following group and is 8 points ahead of Hai Phong. Therefore, coach Vu Hong Viet and his team set the goal of continuing to defeat their opponents to ensure first place in the group after 9 rounds.
At Hang Day Stadium, Hanoi Police will welcome Ho Chi Minh City. Currently, the two teams are equal on points, but the defending champion is rated higher because of their quality players. Coach Kiatisak and his team are predicted to have an “easy” match against the Southern representative.
In addition, Binh Duong will face Quang Nam at Go Dau Stadium, promising many surprises. The remaining is the confrontation between The Cong Viettel – Khanh Hoa, Hong Linh Ha Tinh – Hoang Anh Gia Lai and Song Lam Nghe An – Binh Dinh.
