Heavy rain continued in the mountainous areas of the North on the night of July 10, with some areas likely to receive over 100mm of rain. On July 11, the region returned to hot weather with the highest temperature reaching 35 degrees Celsius.
On the night of July 10, thunderstorms are forecast to continue in the Northwest and Viet Bac regions with rainfall ranging from 15-30mm. Some places may record very heavy rainfall of over 100mm.
People should be on guard against the risk of landslides in mountainous areas and flooding in low-lying areas, especially in areas that received heavy rain on July 10 such as Ha Giang and Tuyen Quang.
Similarly, thunderstorms also occurred in the southern Central Highlands and the South with rainfall of 15-30mm, locally over 60mm.
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that on July 11, the North will return to a state of hot weather, concentrated in the Northern Delta, southern Son La and Hoa Binh. The highest temperature will be 35-36 degrees Celsius, with some places reaching over 36 degrees Celsius.
Similarly, the heat wave persists in the area from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen but is more severe, commonly in the range of 35-38 degrees Celsius, in some places above 38 degrees Celsius. The lowest relative humidity is 45-50%.
Page Accuweather Hanoi is forecast to record the highest temperature of 33-35 degrees Celsius in the next two days. The weather is mainly cloudy, with hot sun appearing at noon and early afternoon, causing a stuffy, stuffy feeling.
