necessary ingredients
– 250 grams cheese
– 2 cups peas
– 2 tbsp butter
– 1 teaspoon cumin
– 1 tablespoon ginger
– 1 cup tomato puree
– 1/4 tsp turmeric
– 2 teaspoon coriander powder
– 2 teaspoons salt
– 1 teaspoon red chili powder
– 3 green chillies (finely chopped)
– crushed cheese
– 1/2 cup water
– 2 tbsp green coriander
– 2 pieces of butter
Method
To make Matar Paneer, heat ghee in a pan. Take care that it does not burn.
– Add cumin in it, when cumin starts crackling, add ginger in it and cook for some time.
– Add tomato puree and let it cook on low flame. Add turmeric, green coriander, salt, red chilli powder and green chilli to it.
– Add some peas, crushed cheese and water to it. Then let it boil.
– Cook it on medium flame while adding water. – Add pieces of paneer in it and cover it well with gravy.
– After this let it cook for one more minute. Garnish with butter and green coriander and serve.
– Your wonderful Matar Paneer is ready. Eat it with naan roti or pulao.
