Madam Pang’s real name is Nualphan Lamsam, born in 1966, and is one of the most influential people in Thailand. She is also the fifth generation heiress of the prestigious Lamsam family.

Recently, the one-time “female team leader” of the Thai teams has officially become the new president of the Golden Temple Country’s Football Federation.

The new president of the Thai Football Federation has made a name for himself thanks to his hard work and efforts, positively contributing to the development of society as well as the economy of Thailand.

Madam Pang is best known as the Chairman and CEO of the family-owned Muang Thai insurance company and is currently the Chairman of the Thai Football Federation.

As an ambitious businesswoman, she has held many other roles, including as Vice President of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, Chair of the Social Development and CSR Committee of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, President Cultural Promotion Foundation and Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Lithuania in Bangkok.

Besides, with her love for the beauty and fashion fields, she founded Saint Honoré (Bangkok) in 1997, which is the exclusive importer and distributor of the luxury brand Hermès in Thailand.

As a student, Madam Pang earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Chulalongkorn University and a major in Psychology from Queensland University, then earned a master’s degree in management from Boston University.

Although she was fortunate to have a happy childhood, she was diagnosed with Iritis at the age of 24. “I remember waking up and not being able to see clearly out of my left eye,” she recalls. Luckily, with the help of the doctors at Rutnin Eye Hospital, I was able to diagnose my condition early. I spent two years undergoing treatment both in Thailand and abroad. I cried and lost a lot of weight. Of course, this greatly affects morale.”

But after every difficulty, there are life lessons to be learned, and these words of encouragement from her father continue to serve as an uplifting motto to help her overcome obstacles. This woman said: “My father said that if you can’t see with your left eye, you still have your right eye. No matter what problem you encounter, it’s not the end of the world. You can overcome them.”

A fact that very few people know about Madam Pang is that her childhood dream was to become a teacher. However, life changed and her first job was as Chief Financial Officer at Lindtas Thailand. She then worked at financial company Phatra Thanakit, before returning to work at her family’s Muang Thai Insurance Company in 2002.

The businesswoman quickly explained: “I started in the sales and marketing department. I really had to prove myself to colleagues who often questioned my abilities. Many of them became my friends and remain so to this day.”

With her leadership as President and CEO, Muang Thai Insurance Company overcame a series of obstacles and reached new heights, receiving many awards – including the Model Award sustainable organization 2022 in the Thai Capital Market. The business philosophy and management style of this “Steel Rose” are greatly influenced by her father, whom she considers her role model.

She shares: “He taught me the importance of honesty, determination and forming good relationships on the path to career success. If we want to win the hearts of others, whether they are colleagues, subordinates, business customers and partners, we must first open our hearts to them. I work with passion. When faced with a confrontational situation, you must have strength and determination,”
