The initiative requests President Gabriel Boric for “legislative measures on procedural matters that allow establishing mechanisms for the delivery of reliable background information that refer to the whereabouts of the missing detainees or the circumstances of their disappearance.”
Also, he requests that the Minister of Justice, Luis Cordero, take the necessary steps before the Supreme Court in order for the judges who are dedicated to human rights can have the necessary resources to carry out their investigations.

Representatives Cristián Araya (Republican) and Johannes Kaiser (Independent-former Republican) made the exception that they did not see political or judicial will in the identification of bones that are in the custody of the Legal Medical Service.
