The Government of President Nayib Bukele, through the DOM, is carrying out an important road transformation project in the Los Llanitos canton, district of Ayutuxtepeque, municipality of San Salvador Centro.
The initiative consists of the recovery of 1.1 kilometers of a road in poor condition, which will be replaced by a hydraulic concrete street, benefiting more than 1,500 inhabitants. This effort seeks to promote the social and economic development of the area.

The project, called “Improvement of streets in the La Ermita sector, Los Llanitos canton, in the Ayutuxtepeque district, in the San Salvador Centro municipality,” will begin with a geotechnics and topography study to determine the most appropriate treatment of the land.
Subsequently, the demolition of the deteriorated pavement, the excavation of the soil and its replacement with material that complies with international regulations will be carried out. In addition, the leveling and compaction of the soil, the placement of select material, a layer of cement soil and, finally, a concrete surface of greater durability with specifications and quality standards are contemplated.

It also includes the construction of protective works, such as gutters, speed bumps, curbs and a retaining wall, to guarantee the durability of the streets.
This is the second project that the DOM develops in Ayutuxtepeque, the first was delivered in November 2022, which involved the placement of asphalt mixture on streets in the Escandia and Santísima Trinidad neighborhoods.
In addition, the DOM has worked on the recovery of important streets in other districts of San Salvador, such as Aguilares, Apopa, Cuscatancingo, Nejapa, Soyapango, Tonacatepeque and Ilopango, as part of the National Patching Plan and the road improvement program.
In the historic center of the capital, more than 45 streets have already been delivered, an urban corridor and underground wiring works are being built as part of a promise by the president to modernize the area.
In this way, the Government is building the new El Salvador and it is another example that money is enough when no one steals.
