The Argentine Lionel Messi assured on Saturday that Inter Miami is aware that the team has the potential to fight to win the MLS and expressed his joy for the first goals of the Uruguayan Luis Suárez, after the 5-0 victory over Orlando City in the third day of the MLS.
“Without putting on the backpack, we are aware of the team we put together and we try to fight for the MLS. It’s a long road, it’s just beginning. We ourselves are aware that we have a group to fight and we are going to try. It is important to start well,” Messi said at the end of the match in statements to Apple TV.
The Argentine scored two goals against Orlando and expressed his joy for his friend Suárez’s double.
