This Sunday the social networks of the Chilean National Team announced the 55 names that appear on the pre-shortlist for the Copa América 2024.
Coach Ricardo Gareca included figures from the National Championship and abroad, such as Arturo Vidal and Gary Medel, the most notable of the absences in his first call, and also added Marcelo Díaz and Luciano Cabral, among other footballers.
Another surprise was the call of Ulises Ortegoza, a Talleres de Córdoba player born in Argentina and who, thanks to the nationality of his paternal grandmother, was called up by “La Roja”.
From this list, Gareca will have to choose 23 players to compete in the Copa América, whose names You have to present on Wednesday, June 12.
