Among the girls, gold was taken by Gulnar Turapbay (50 kg), Shakhnaz Isaeva (60 kg), Aknar Ishanova (66 kg), Jasmine Kizatova (70 kg), Diana Magauiyaeva (81 kg), and Eldana Talipova (+81), with Diana in in the final she defeated the 2021 world champion Pazan Alfiya from India.
The silver medalists were Anita Adisheva (52 kg), Elina Bazarova (54 kg), Anel Sakysh (57 kg) and Anar Tursynbek (63 kg). Three out of four opponents were boxers from India, and Adisheva’s were from Uzbekistan.
At the same time, the Asian Junior Championships in the under 18 category were held in Astana, at which Kazakhstan also became first in the team competition.
