The meeting of the Political Secretariat of SYRIZA-PS is in progress, with the participation of the party’s president, Stefanos Kasselakis.
It is noted that, at yesterday’s meeting, Mr. Kasselakis was absent and sent a letter.
The president and the executives of SYRIZA arrived in Koumoundourou from Syntagma, where they participated in the farmers’ rally.
During his arrival, Stefanos Kasselakis made a statement to the cameras and attacked the media, which “make propaganda against SYRIZA”.
Specifically, the president of SYRIZA, referring to an online medium, stated that he read that he went separately from the SYRIZA MPs to the Syntagma.
“How much of a lie can this be, apart from the SYRIZA MPs, while I was there with them! Finally, this propaganda against SYRIZA must end. From all the media. SYRIZA is too tough to die and you will see that very soon”, explained the official opposition leader.
Critical meeting, once again
The Political Secretariat of SYRIZA is meeting in the wake of Stefanos Kasselakis’ surprise move with the questionnaire to the members, about the name and identity of the party.
It remains to be seen whether the new crisis that has erupted within the party will worsen or whether there will be a truce, even if temporary, referring the matter to the party congress, scheduled to begin on Thursday.
