June in shows: Ringo Starr, Enrique Bunbury, Christian Nodal and Louis Tomlinson

MEXICO CITY (apro).– The extensive list of concerts for this June stands out for the presence of Ringo Starr with his new EP “Crooked Boy” at the National Auditorium, Enrique Bunbury with his recent album “Greta Garbo”, and the acts by Louis Tomlinson, Christian Nodal, 31 Minutes and Damned Neighborhood.

The “Faith In The Future” tour brings back the British singer and songwriter Louis Tomlinson, taking place this June 1 at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez. This same day the American indie pop Saint Motel at the Foro Puebla. Sharing the date, Bacilos’ Latin pop will arrive at the BB Auditorium.

The legendary drummer of The Beatles, Ringo Starr, returns to Mexico for two special shows this June 5 and 6 at the National Auditorium. The visit of the famous British rocker comes on the back of his recent EP “Crooked Boy”, which contains the songs “February Sky”, “Adeline”, “Gonna Need Someone” and “Crooked Boy”. Ringo Starr will be seen with his All Starr Band, made up of Steve Lukather, Edgar Winter, Colin Hay, Warren Ham, Hamish Stuart and Gregg Bissonette.

British artist George Van Den Broek, best known for his project Yellow Days, will be on stage at House Of Vans this June 7. Danny Ocean will do the same on June 7 and 8 at the Palacio de los Deportes.

Also the Mexican singer Christian Nodal will arrive at the National Auditorium on June 7, 8, 9 and 11.

The rock star from Zaragoza, Spain, Enrique Bunbury, will arrive on June 8 at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez to present his recent album “Greta Garbo” (2023), material with 10 songs whose production was carried out by Adán Jodorowsky, and with an imminent return to the stage.

For its part, the Mexican ska group Maldita Vecindad will show its renewed show “Noches de Kumbala” on June 8 and 9 at the Teatro Metropólitan, with the presence of “Roco Pachukote”, Aldo Acuña and Enrique Montes “Pato”.

The post-punk spirit will take over the Indie Rocks Forum on June 14 with the Americans from Portland, Soft Kill. That same day the national Silverio will give a show at La Hacienda de Montecristo, located in Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico.

Meanwhile, Emmanuel and Mijares will display romanticism at the National Auditorium on June 14 and 15.

The Una Noche con JazzMX III festival will take place on June 16 at the Esperanza Iris City Theater, bringing together the saxophonist Diego Franco, the pianist Alex Mercado and the singer-songwriter Magos Herrera, in addition to twenty guest musicians, in an evening under the leadership of Iraida Noriega.

Yuri and Cristian Castro will arrive at the National Auditorium on June 18 and 19. On one side of that great venue, the Lunario will host the Spanish group La La Love You on June 20.

The Argentine singer-songwriter Coti Sorokin returns with a tour of the Republic, starting on June 20 at the Metapatio in Monterrey, on June 21 at La Maraka in Mexico City and on June 22 at the Centro Cultural Bretón in Guadalajara.

The Pura Vida festival will be held on June 21 at the Lunario of the National Auditorium. Nasa Histoires (Colombia), Sara Curruchich (Guatemala), La Mafiandina (Ecuador), Conjunto Tropidélico (El Salvador), Mike Joseph and Di Gud Frendz (Costa Rica) and Solovino (Mexico) will perform on stage.

The Chilean musical group 31 Minutos presents its version of Don Quixote on June 22 and 23 at the Pepsi Center WTC. The guys from Picus will do the same on June 23 at the National Auditorium.

The indie pop group from Glasgow, Scotland, Camera Obscura, will occupy the Indie Rocks Forum on June 22, 23 and 24. On that same stage, but on June 27, the Mexicans Los Románticos de Zacatecas will be seen as part of their Quinceañera Tour. Meanwhile, the natives of Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, The Real Antonios, will give a show on June 27 at the Lunario of the National Auditorium.

Finally, to close the month, the legendary Chilean reggae group Gondwana (emerged in 1987) will be on June 29 at the Frontón México. Sharing the date, the legendary Spanish band Mägo de Oz will play at the CDMX Arena.
