Juanes prepares to present his ‘Amores prohibidos’ on November 10

This is the first single from his highly anticipated new album for 2023, in which he makes a very personal reflection during the pandemic, to reexamine life, love and family.
Colombian rock star Juanes will release his new single ‘Amores prohibited’ this November 10, making it his first material for fans to listen to after his album ‘Origen’, with which he won Grammy and Latin Grammy awards, and with which undertook the tour of the same name.

While ‘Origen’ took the artist back to his deepest roots through reinterpretations of some of the songs that most influenced his musical vision, this new creative cycle combines that constant return to the electric guitar and represents an immersion in his own ability to write songs, a talent that has received praise throughout his career and with which he traveled within himself during the recent pandemic.

These resulting two years of writing and recording have left both the artist and his producer and close collaborator (and also multiple Grammy Award winner) Sebastian Krys, full of excitement to soon share this new level of creativity, as well as the release of the full album, early 2023.

Ahead of the release of ‘Amores Prohibidos’, Juanes has already begun taking fans inside his recent creative process for the new song, through a series of short TikTok videos that have already generated over nine million views.
