Radcliffe and Watson are among the cast members of the popular young wizard franchise who spoke out against Rowling’s stance on gender identity in 2020.
This Wednesday the ‘Cass Review’ report was published with recommendations to the NHS (UK Public Health Service), which raised concerns about gender identity services for under-18s.
The paper finds that children have been let down by “remarkably weak evidence” on medical intervention in gender care, which Rowling welcomed and considered “a turning point.”
